Makinanin crash oldugu durumda memory dump etmesini saglayin. swap partition'unuzu /etc/rc.conf'a dumpdev olarak belirtin. Mesela, swap partition'unuz /dev/ad0s1b ise rc.conf'a dumpdev="/dev/ad0s1b" girin ve makinayi reboot edin. Artik makina crash oldugunda, fiziksel hafizanin anlik resmini cekip swap'e yazacak, reboot'tan sonra ise, bu hafiza imaji /var/crash altina atilacaktir. Bir sonraki reboot'tan sonra /var/crash altinda dosya gorurseniz, o dosyalardan yola cikilarak bir hata bildirimi yapilabilir.
