You may very well be correct, Stewart, but I was
making a joke by refering to a well-known
cartoon-character Elmer Fudd ... as a reinforcement to
the "Meep Meep" portion of my message which was meant
to refer to the Road-Runner character of the same
group of cartoon characters.
One particularity of these cartoons is that the
cartoonists inspired themselves from comedians and
clich�s of the 20th century. Bugs Bunny, for example,
is essentially Groucho Marx. Not suprising then that
Elmer Fudd may be a knockoff of Rex Hunt.
Cultural references do not always translate well,
