I think that if graphics pass clicks and buttons dont that is fine. So maybe
the problem is a little less complex than that?

Speaking of problems although apple still sells HC through magazines here in
France good luck finding it on their web site! You can go to the same page but
then try to order it. Sad.

Why does apple shoot itself in the foot?

Would macro media really get that bent out of shape at HC3? Different
markets.

This really bothers me. I figured, "well 2 years is not forever maybe next
quarter at least a bug fix". Hah ha. Guess I was a sucker.

Sherlock is opensource no? So is sprockets? So why not HC?

I understand "hc is at best break even, that's why" but I do not understand
why they don't go opensource.

Part of this is just because I _love think Pascal and am really averse to C
(took a course in it and did well but why should programming be anything
_other than fun elegant and beautiful?)

Oh well, at least my courses have started and I hope to do an MA thesis on
computer aided instruction - probably using MC.

Why Why Why?

Speaking of why's why cannot metaCard have a GUI as beautiful as HC?

I really hope this rant is not taken badly. I passed the icons to Adrian to
upload though he is a little swamped right now. I guess I am just sad that the
Atkinson's beautiful dream should waste away on a shelf somewhere gathering
dust when it could evolve, as Alain says, into so much more
(browser/server/authoring tool/alternative to javash*t-i mean script.)

I did learn java script and was quite disappointed. If you go platform
specific to IEX than yeah you can get some mileage but I prefer netscape and
so do many other persons.

Anyway I shall take this in stride. Because my school has started I cannot
promise anything till christmas though I can and will follow discussions.

Note: I still do not have MPW though I do have a copy of think Pascal and
prefer it infinitely to C. So if there is anything in this project that could
be done in pascal (please no laughter) tell me.
