>Does gcc run on BeOS? gcc 2.95.3 is available on the existing BeOS 5 -- I don't think gcc 3.x will be available until the R2 version of OBOS <open source be os project> is out. I believe however that gcc 3 will work on the Atheos- Be derived Cosmoe project, and the BlueEyedOS project, since both are using limux kernels - the latter projects are trying to keep source compatability rather than binary compatability with BeOS 5, and are willing to break binary compatability. OBOS, at beunited.org, is focusing on binary compatability until they hav reproduced the OS as open source, and will then move ahead with gcc 3 ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Freecard-general mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freecard-general
