Hi all,
To try and make it easier for people to get involved, there is now a source
tarball being created on sourceforge which contains a copy of all the source
code for FreeCard in the exact same format that CVS would have checked it
out for you. It should only be used on UNIX based systems though (ie: not
windows or Mac OS 9) because it uses UNIX line endings. It's updated
nightly.

The tarball is available at:
http://freecard.sourceforge.net/freecard-src-cvs.tar.gz

Once you've downloaded it, you can use a standard CVS update to get any
extra changes rather than download the entire package again (unless you
really want to). On OS X simply make sure the developer tools are
installed, then open "Terminal" and type:

cd<space>

Then drag the freecard folder that you expanded from the source tarball onto
the Terminal (it will insert the path to that folder).

Press enter.

Type:

cvs update

Press enter.

CVS will then update your copy with any changes.

More documentation on what to do with the source to follow.

Regards,

Adrian Sutton.
