Summary: Client not displaying unfinished meetings on connect Project: Freeciv Submitted by: None Submitted on: Friday 05/14/10 at 09:38 CEST Category: client Severity: 4 - Important Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: handu...@savageclub.org Open/Closed: Open Release: 2.2.0 Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: Microsoft Windows Planned Release: _______________________________________________________ Details: In release 2.1 was introduced a new exellent feature which allows diplomatic treaties to be initiated without both parties having to be present at the same time. In 2.2 it has been broken. The client no longer displays meetings that have been started while the player was absent. Also, if a player starts a meeting, accepts treaty and disconnects, the meeting is not displayed to them on reconnect. Furthermore, the unfinished treaty still exists making it imbossible to start a new one between the players involved while the hidden one cannot be accepted. This is a serious flaw for multiplayer games. There is a workaround, though. If one of the involved players is aitoggled temporarily, the treaty is cancelled on the process. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://gna.org/bugs/?16022> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ _______________________________________________ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
