Follow-up Comment #1:
Not for 2.3 at least (to near). I plan to stop my participation int the
project at the 2.3.1 release, so I won't do it.
However, if someone it interested, the code is available on warclient
(project freeciv-warclient on gna). It would also simplify patch #2076.
