Summary: Multiplayer ruleset: wonders suppress the buildings they replace on other continents Project: Freeciv Submitted by: jtn Submitted on: Fri Dec 17 02:01:58 2010 Category: rulesets Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Status: Ready For Test Assigned to: jtn Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: 2.3.0-beta1 Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: None Planned Release: 2.3.0 _______________________________________________________ Details: In the 'multiplayer' ruleset (and 'rewonder' before it), most wonders have had their positive effects changed from "Player" to "Continent" range (which implicitly limits to "Player" as well). However, where the same effect can come from a building as well (as for the Great Wall and City Walls), the "nreqs" for the wonder are still at Player range. I think this means that once you've built the Great Wall on one island, any City Walls you have on other islands will inexplicably lose their effect. This seems unlikely to be deliberate. As well as the Great Wall, this affects: * Michelangelo's Chapel / Cathedrals * Women's Suffrage / Police Stations * Hoover Dam / various electrical plants _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://gna.org/bugs/?17335> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ _______________________________________________ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
