Follow-up Comment #1, patch #2436 (project freeciv):
Parts of patch split into patch #2437 and patch #2443. This patch contains
just canvas related changes: implemented functions canvas_create(),
canvas_free(), canvas_put_sprite() and canvas_put_sprite_full(). This is
enough to get something appearing on canvas, and with patch #2443 on screen.
