Ok, had a look at the translation myself and the fix is completely legit.
Will commit to S2_2 soon.
However, there seems to be an underlying problem with the English strings
themselves. In the tutorial in particular, the term "Science Dialog" is used
frequently while in most other places it is called the "Research Report".
Raised bug #18207 to address this.
