Dear Thomas Vattrodt, As stated on our website - http://freeciv.org/wiki/License - while we welcome anyone to redistribute Freeciv on any media, we ask you to provide to your CD/DVD a copy of the Freeciv source code in addition to the binary package of your choice. This is stipulated by the GNU GPL v2 license we release Freeciv under.
