Follow-up Comment #5:
Some parts of the code break if barbarians are not included in 'maxplayers',
some parts break if they are included.
Attached patch makes barbarians never to count toward 'maxplayers'. Among the
artifacts this fixes is that value of 'maxplayers' setting won't be
automatically increased to value higher than its maximum value (max:
MAX_NUM_PLAYERS, was containing at max: MAX_NUM_PLAYERS + MAX_NUM_BARBARIANS)
