Details:

I'm unable to see the unit animations when I play with S2_5 and gtk2 client.
Tested with kubuntu, by compiling the source (rev 24704).

I have tried to increase the delay time to the maximum (100 ms for combat, and
up to 4000ms for movement), and the result when you order a unit to move
several tiles (goto) is a huge wait time, while showing the unit in the
initial position, and then sudently the unit appears in the final position.
When there is a combat, enemy units inside cities are never showed, and I
can't see the usual combat animation.

I have tested amplio2, amplio and isotrident (in case animations were related
to tileset), but no luck to see unit movements.
