Follow-up Comment #12:
Bug #22076 was about linking readline to binary instead of libfreeciv-srv.
That would fit the --enable-shared comment here, as without it binary contains
libfreeciv-srv (as static library).
Thus assuming now fixed. Feel free to reopen.
