Follow-up Comment #1:
Qt-client in 2.4 is early development version, and only minimally supported.
Even in 2.5 it's still "experimental", lacking some important functionality.
I'll see if fix to this issue is trivial to backport to 2.4 (where Qt-client
is based on Qt4 while newer branches use Qt5)
