Details:

The code in kill_player() which gives a bunch of cities to the barbarians
doesn't have the usual ugly savepalace save/restore hack to stop the victim's
palace being moved repeatedly around their rapidly dwindling empire (which
presumably causes spurious messages).

The existing hack is ugly, but let's have it the same as in other places for
now.
