I just had a quick look. Could you create a version for Freeciv trunk and 2.6 as well? Instructions on how to get them can be found at http://freeciv.wikia.com/wiki/Freeciv_source_code_repository _ I would also like to drop the patch from Debian's version of Freeciv._ I just assigned it to my self.
