Follow-up Comment #1:
Attached patch simply comments out all the unused bitwise option stuff. Don't
want to remove it completely as it might be needed in the future.
This is last patch to make code clang-3.4 clean in S2_5 and TRUNK. It's not
clang-3.5 clean.
