Follow-up Comment #1, patch #6079 (project freeciv):

So it seems that our compiler warnings are triggered for incompatibilites in
gtk+ itself. (I assume them to work on gdk component only as it's set
"-DGDK_VERSION_MAX_ALLOWED=GDK_VERSION_2_12")
Still, be warned that this kind of solutions might not work so well in the
future / other cases.
