We are down to 6 open tickets against S2_6 datafile format freeze. I'm now proposing 02-Dec-15 as the final freeze date. That's still 2 Months (and a couple of days) in the future, so we have some time to find weaknesses of the current formats (and to postpone freeze in such a case). That date would be 11 months (less than a year) after the S2_6 branching. If that seems like a long time to someone, I were actually considering 12 months (02-Jan-16) most of the summer.
