Follow-up Comment #1, bug #23973 (project freeciv):
S2_5 has the problem that there's even S2_5 savegames out there in broken
format, so that S2_5 patch is probably ok as it is.
If possible S2_6 & TRUNK should do this as part of savecompat conversion
between 2.5 -> 2.6, and not touch later savegames.
Especialle savegame3.c should never need to do the conversion as this is going
to be fixed in the first version that saves in savegame3.c format.
