Follow-up Comment #2, bug #24253 (project freeciv):
The fix here is really stop-gag solution, making it at least possible to play
the game with gtk3x-client. The appearance of the dialog can be really
ridiculous with this.
I'm likely to commit this in its current form + open a new ticket, to be
resolved in the future, about the appearance.
