S2_5:
- Does not have gtk3 modpack installer as default, but that doesn't mean it
can't have equivalent problem
- Uses old AM_PATH_GTK_2_0 and AM_PATH_GTK_3_0 (deprecated upstream) macros
for finding gtk, instead of (direct) pkg-config. At this time I assume that
they do not suffer from this problem but it's a regression introduced when we
replaced them with direct PKG_CHECK_MODULE.
- There's separate check for gthread needed in addition to gtk+ itself
implemented with PKG_CHECK_MODULE. This part suffers from the problem.
