Details:
Point 12 from bug #22678:
"Background texture resized with window, causing it to slither under controls
and have non-square aspect ratio. Gtk2 tiles texture instead; I prefer this
aesthetically, and it probably wastes less CPU too."
This is controlled by the background-repeat
<https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stable/GtkCssProvider.html#id-1.5.3.10.11.42>
property. Currently it's 'round'. 'repeat' gives the Gtk2-client behaviour.
