Details:
As deprecation of gtk2 goes forward, it will become harder and harder of us to
maintain client based on it. I'm worried about the 3.0 cycle already (given
how far in the future the end-of-life of 3.0 will be).
In 3.1 cycle gtk2-client should be dropped. Obviously this increases pressure
to get gtk3-client regressions compared to gtk2-client solved.
