I really think that Freeciv should work on any platform it used to work on.
Dropping W2K because it had no IPV6 (and because QT5 also dropped W2K) was am
exception, like dropping XPM was an exception.
OTOH it would be tricky for me to test Windows XP (I only have a VM running
for 30 days before it has to be re-initiated, I avoid it like plague), and I'm
not personally missing support for XP.
But "no XP" sounds very bad, it could silenly imply "no ReactOs", "no Wine",
or other kinds of unscheduled side-effects.
