Details:
Patch #7019 is about dropping gtk2-client from 3.1 completely. Start
deprecating it by marking it unmaintained (having 'unmaintained' status does
not prohibit fixing things - it just means that we don't promise anything) in
current trunk and eventually 3.0 already.
