Follow-up Comment #7, bug #22836 (project freeciv):
That's true, but it's not what this (long closed) ticket was about -- that was
about being unable to get rid of scrollbars on the (fixed-size) minimap
canvas.
Moving the Gtk clients' minimap away from a fixed-size canvas whose scale the
user has no control over should be a new ticket.
