OK.  I just had a quick look around on sourceforge but AFAICT none of the 
projects I keep an eye on has jumped yet, or at least no obvious changes leap 
out.  The one thing I would like ATM is better spam protection, as we are 
getting one or two link spam a day in the open forums.  You are right though, 
the next release is the priority.

Not all the enthusiasm is misplaced:-).  Git is fast and powerful.  The main 
win I have had is that, paradoxically, speaking as someone who frequently 
screwed up his svn tree, I make fewer messes with git.  Either that or the 
cheap branching ability makes it easy just to revert to a known good state and 
rebuild.

If you are there Paolo, what are your thoughts on migrating to git?
