Hello,

Since years I enjoy playing at Colonization and I recently discovered
FreeCol. As I'm a Java developer I would like to participate to this
project.

I've read the documentation on FreeCol's web site as well as the
"developer.tex" file in the repository but some questions still remain.
Moreover this is the first time I'm going to contribute to an open source
software on Sourceforge.

- I've created a bug report because I've noticed a bug, and I've already
fixed it. Where must I put the path? In the freecol-commits mailing list?
The developers one?

- How can I assign bugs to myself?

- How to make patches? I use Eclipse Indigo with a SVN connector. When I
make a right-click on modified files I can make a patch and it looks like
what I can see in the freecol-commits mailing list. Is it a good way to
create patches?

Thanks for your help ;-)

Regards,
Stéphane
