I managed to snatch failure from the jaws of success, but I'm still working on this. A preview looked quite good, but then I realized, that the rivers must be moved to the NW and NE edges of the tile in order to avoid occlusion. I hope I will be able to provide a few screen shots during the next week. If deemed acceptable, I will further refine the generated rivers.
