I have three cordless phones to give away I haven't used any of them in several years, but they were all working when I last used them except for the batteries that no longer held a charge for more than a minute or two. I have two Panasonic KX-TG5100 systems with built-in answering machine (one missing AC adapter and one missing belt clip). This phone system can handle multiple handsets, so if you don't want to find a second AC adapter, you can use both handsets on one base The second is a Sanyo CLT-1761. One interesting feature of this phone is the ability to add batteries to the base to ensure opperation during power failures.
