CSIR (India's largest publicly funded research and development body) plans
to monetize its patents.

I wonder why a publicly funded organisation need to have patents ,
These organisations get their funding from the government of india,
which is to be spent for the benefit of the people of this country.

But creating patents and erecting barriers to safe guard their research from
the
citizens of this country who are paying their salary and funding their
research is
cheating of the worst kind.

And on top of that , CSIR plans to create and promote patent regime in India
and give
out licenses for monetary profits.

Report is on the table for discussion in the cabinet of the Indian
Goverment.

What is this Universe ? From what it arises ? Into what does it go?
In freedom it arises, In freedom it rests and into freedom it melts away.
