We can take a soft intersection of the weekend days.

So that's about the days and weekends.

I am also aware of the 'time' challenges faced while scheduling events in 
meetup.

Two points

1. time should be mentioned in (UTC+0000) format.
2. DST can go to hell. We aren't dealing with stupid apps and their users.

If people miss attending the event because they can't convert from some 
arbitrary DST time to (UTC+000), that's good riddance.
