@Saifi this was a very useful thread that we tried to do a hair splitting on.
I went through it again, and have some open silly questions:
1. Though what I still fail to understand, is the usage of S3 buckets in this
particular scenario.
2. There is also a term that was being used called "ci-split", what does the
author meant by that, my assumptions:
- One single pipeline broken into further smaller pipelines?
- Running two pipelines one for the new and one for the old platform.
Though I could be very wrong as this is an assumption I making.
3. Why use S3?
