Hi,
I have account on these three remote githosting service providers:
. Github
. Gitlab . Codeberg
I wanted to understand, if it is good practice to have all three of them in
sync.
For example: if I am working on a project that I started on Github, the same
is visible on Gitlab and Codeberg.
I am using this thread as a sounding board.
0. Signup on all the three service and register with the same username.
1. For all SoftwareFreedom project(s) and exploration, stick to codeberg.org
Codeberg is a community based (for the community, by the community) Git hosting
service and we should support them first.
2. If you are deep-diving on some project which is specifically hosted off
'hub' or 'lab' then fork it there to have a copy under your username.
3. If you want to make a backup of some project that is on codeberg.org then it
should be on your laptop.
This is similar to what we discussed in the context of git repo of
SoftwareFreedom projects.
warm regards
Saifi.
