I think for a FreedomBase there should be used a at least a RAID5 Given the current price of terabyte it shouldn't be to expensive to use a 3HDD's. Well - it would be expensive but not more than a cheap netbook.
for a CloudStor: 1 usb and one RJ-45 are a certain disadvantages. I wonder how long is it takes to dismount the HDDs from this. with the current price for terabyte For a wireless - i think - it would be better if it would be external, for any kind of FBX, first of all - because it would be reusable. But - there are a bandwidth and other limitations of a USB2.0, maybe ExpressCard's or USB3.0 could be a solutions. Thunderbolt seems great but i can't say it is massively affordable now. Generally - i don't think - the size matters as much for a FreedomBases, as it matter for FreedomBox's. What do you think? _______________________________________________ Freedombox-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/freedombox-discuss
