For the last 2 years Alain has wished to be able to obtain (through a DOS call) more information about the compiler, CPU and FAT type support of the kernel.


To be even more honest (cynical?), I don't care about anything but
FAT32/80386 kernels. But fortunately, Bart is not like me ;-)

Bart distributes only 8086 kernels and never 80386 kernels, whereas I include only a FAT32/80386 kernel in the "illegal" aPacked kernel in my ROMDSK package.
