Hi, as FreeDOS 2034 is out, does it make attempts to fix http://www.freedos.org/bugs/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1745 ? "renaming dir with trailing backslash makes it vanish" which could be blamed on shell, kernel or both?
How about Netware related bug 1753, as reported by Erwin, does 2034 fix it? Bug 1757: The EXIT command in batch files (when you run freecom /k somebatfile) is not honoured - seems to be reported by Steffen himself, but about which version? 0.82pl3? Or 0.82pl3e? Or...? In bug 1758, Bernd suggests a change in config sys menu processing vs. F8, does kernel 2034 include that change? In bug 1759, he also suggests that "No UMBs available" warning (when you use DEVICEHIGH) should be only displayed once - fixed in 2034? http://www.freedos.org/bugs/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1761 describes some quite annoying FreeCOM problems related to running external commands (e.g. FDISK) in "FreeCOM 0.83 patchlevel 3a" - I hope this is either fixed or does not happen in next older stable patchlevel 3... In bug 1766, help with implementing Windows 3.11 compatibility is offered! Bug 1768: Problem with QuickBasic 4.5 / VBDOS library loading -> Kernel? http://www.freedos.org/bugs/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1769 DOS4GW pro: Page error at startup - probably EMM386 related?
