Both cases, I do POWER ON, Boot OS, make snapshot, POWER OFF, and never a RESET.
it's a single floppydisk using Eric's METAKERN bootloader so I can boot
FreeDOS (kernel.sys) and MSDOS 7.10 (IO.SYS, Win98 Second Edition, Dutch language)
FreeCOM version is 0.82, patchlevel 3K, UPX'd DISPLAY.COM v0.10b also UPX'd (by Aitor.)
if a MEM /C /P is desired I'll give one, but in MSDOS it shows DISPLAY being loaded low (32KB UMB isn't large enough for DISPLAY).
in FreeDOS, no DISPLAY has been loaded, as you can also tell from MODE's complaints. I still need to try older kernels (2030?) and FreeCOM (0.82pl2 and 0.82pl3). However FreeCOM does not seem to be the problem,
but the kernel :(
