Hi,
I am hereby, finaly releasing a new version of defrag. This version should fix all known bugs, so it should be ready for FreeDOS version 1.0. The speed is still not optimal, I optimized some stuff here and there and I added a message on start up to install an XMS driver.
is the XMS-driver required, or just for speedup? this also means minimum platform is 286, or 386? no new features indicates no FAT32 support (yet?) ?
I'll integrate this new version to the next FreeDOS distribution. Is there any separate documentation about how to use Defrag, or only the in-program HELP (defrag.hlp)?
I'll have a look at it. Binary seems to be included into the sourcefiles, along with some quite complex directory tree (your development environment).
