Well we use this on our dedicated MS-DOS based POWERLan server so that we could have more active shares & uses. Not not something that is used commonly, but with 200 PCs using a P166 with SCSI drive in the mid 90s it kept us from needing to upgrade to a "real" network operating system. Not a totally unused feature, though we don't need to use it anymore since we upgraded to Netware in '99 for the office and so have about half the system talking POWERLan. Regards.
