Eric, other people,
the HTMLHELP problem I'm experiencing is the following:
HTMLHELP crashes if called twice and HIMEM is loaded.
At least it loads for you, on my test computer, choosing
option one (with himem) locks my computer (have to press
the reset button or power off/on) sometimes with an invalid
opcode, the rest just a hard lockup on the empty but
with window decorations screen. Choosing option 2
(adding emm386 to the mix) simply causes my computer to
reboot if help is ran. With option 3 help runs just fine.
I tried a few variations, the key to causing it for me
seems to be using DOS=high or not (FreeCom loaded high
or not does not effect it and having himem loaded without
the DOS=high line does not seem to effect it).
steps to reproduce:
...
7) type HELP
8) you should now see an empty contents screen
...

I will try to look into this more this weekend, including
checking with a few other computers.
