No, I get URL and file name directly from your letter, as is. Ok, I try
with lowercase name. (BTW, what me not liked in *ix - case sensitive file
names).

I can't help the case sensitivity in Unix nonsense, although the stupidity of it is compounded by the fact that Unix-ish filenames are not always treated as case sensitive depending on what you're doing and with what. We have both had this discussion of upper versus lowercase filenames on the ftp site before, however, so it shouldn't be too confusing.

Regardless, the vast majority of people use a browser to get to the site and most of the remainder use a dedicated ftp utility rather than direct ftp commands, and can therefore see the file listing. The only other reported problem from a previous HIMEM/EMM386 download was from a person who insisted I had somehow uploaded a ZIP file which was over a year old, although he did not check the actual ZIP contents. Although I subsequently double-checked dates he apparently would not believe I was capable of that simple task, wrote me that I was grievously in error, and thoughtfully added to my e-mail load by attaching an unsolicited screen capture of his ftp session. Amazingly enough after a bit of Googling on the topic, it turns out that I can indeed tell time and that FireFox/Mozilla browsers will occasionally mung displayed ftp file dates. Perhaps I was a bit more rude in my final response to the individual than I should have been, but I remain a cranky old man, particularly when challenged on simple matters by people who do not check for problems on their own end after I do on mine.

Users of those two browsers may wish to take note of the potential flaw. I haven't seen notice that the ftp file date problem was officially recognized and corrected by the Mozilla crew, but I haven't tracked it closely.
