Hi, I have a "blocker" problem with FreeCOM:
Whenever VOLINFXL shows up in a BAT file, FreeCOM (German version
made from your NLS download) reports (translated version of)...:
Ctrl-Break pressed, abort batch file (yes/no/all)?

This happens right after the running of VOLINFXL.
In addition, there is a bug with screen display: If I run VOLINFXL
at the bottom of the screen, then the Ctrl-Break message or sometimes
the lines after that one only are all background color on background
color until I do CLS again. Happens even at 80x25 but could conceivably
be a bug with NANSI or similar. Main problem is, again, that FreeCOM
thinks that ^C got pressed!

When I run VOLINFXL from the prompt, I notice that:
Errorlevel is 95 (0x5f), while FreeCOM 0.82pl3 reports errorlevel 0 and
I have to hit one key before the keyboard reacts again

For example I type VOLINFXL enter space echo %errorlevel% enter
because without the space, "cho" instead of "echo" would be done.

You can find the (Turbo Pascal compiled) VOLINFXL at:
http://www.coli.uni-sb.de/~eric/stuff/soft/specials/volinfxl.zip
(my binary here is the same but UPXed to 5832 bytes)

Maybe you can find which factors are involved here. Having VOLINFXL
(which acts like "df -h" in Linux, roughly, shows per-drive disk usage)
in my AUTOEXEC, the problem is indeed kind of a blocker for my FreeCOM
satisfaction...

Eric
