BTW, I am also looking for translators of my ISO.
which parts to be translated?
You've done a tremendous effort in getting a full and uptodate usable
live cdrom. Congratulations :)
I've shamelessly copied some features from your ISO.
1) download VIDE-CDD.SYS from the internet to access cdrom
(usable on the 'create a bootdisk' script)
Thanks to all of the people that sent me their PCIsleep output, thanks
to the companies that are allowing me to distribute their packet
drivers, and thanks very much to Bodo Thiesen for setting up a place
for my ISOs at http://freedos.sharedaemon.org/.
In crynwr is the PCNTPK.COM driver, which works for VMware and for which
I've sent PCISLEEP output to you. However, not included, I noticed.
I wonder how you did this, but I'll find that out :)
Bart Lagerweij's PCISCAN program has some batchfile mode, PCISLEEP
doesn't to my knowledge
What I first noticed is booting the cdrom is that the release is still
'1' though it's a fresh ISO. Maybe add the release date to the initial
bootscreen?
Language selection has no timer expiring. Then the word '(default'
[without closing hook by the way] has no use.
UDMA2 on bootdisk part is at 2.4 while 2.5 has been released a while.
Eric's CPULEVEL program keeps looping if I select to install FreeDOS.
Strange.
A final request is to have some debug setting available.
In the menus, if I select Openwatcom or Arachne or things like that, and
if things then go wrong, I can't see what's going on as you're jumping
back to the initial screen/menu right away.
maybe something like this might be usefull:
if "%debug%"=="1" pause
then user can already at the commandline type himself
SET DEBUG=1
MENU and HELP are batchfiles instead of ALIAS commands?
latest FreeCOM might have support for ALIAS compiled out
(which is quite annoying, but can't be helped)
