I'm reading through some of my older books (partly in my quest for information about MS DOS internals and partly curiosity), and there are some references to look at the win 3.x ddk. As this is no longer available directly (as best I can tell it cost money at the time, so I'm pretty sure I didn't download it years ago). I saw a reference that it was available on a MSDN cd in 97 or 98. I am curious if anyone here has and would be willing to part (for a reasonable cost) either an old copy of the ddk or msdn copy with it (assuming such things are transferable). Alternatively, I have been considering obtaining a MSDN subscription, but given the cost of even the OS one is a significant portion of my monthly income, does any one here have one and know if the win 3.x ddk is available with a MSDN subscription (and which one, OS, Pro, ...). (I'm considering a MSDN subscription for win32/win64 work, but still would like to know if win16 archives are available.)

In a similar vein, does any one have a registered (ie full) version of "Programmer's Technical Reference for MSDOS and the IBM PC" aka DOSREF by Dave Williams they would be willing sell/give for a reasonable fee. I had contacted him years back and got his at the time current address, mailed a check (not so soon after), but never got the mail back nor the check cashed, so I missed my chance. I have a decent set of DOS books, but if anyone runs across any they do not want, please send me a note, as I may buy it from you (or at least pay for you to ship it to me instead of throwing it out).

Any assistance would be much appreciated,
Jeremy
