Well I think what we are realy missing is a good BASIC compiler. Something like QuickBASIC. Free BASIC has something like that but that works only in 32 bit.
Let's completely rewrite it so that it works in 16 bit real mode. Especially if we can hold all the tables in XMS. So that it requires a 386 and 4 to 8 Mb anyway.
