Hi Eric, > thanks for hunting the SUBST bug! Look at bugzilla, > it should be a known bug.
Which bugzilla? I'd appreciate if you sent me a link ;-) > Something about the current > directory and/or root directory not being handled > correctly. There is something more... It allways works with a fully qualified file name, but not with the file name alone. AND after 2 1/2 days it stopped working at all. I had to change to MS-DOS to continue working. Let me explain: sometimes it I run just "T" it says "file not found", for the first 2 days, it happened only a single time the first time, plus permanently after many hours. Then I had to reboot. All the time fqn like "M:\T" worked ok. Plus getcwd() does not work. And path to a subst'ed drive works just fine. > BUT Bart Oldeman recently changed a bit in > the SVN/CVS version, maybe you should ask him if his > change will affect or even fix the SUBST problem. Is this a new kernel version? Will you make a new binary release? I would help a lot ;-) Alain ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
