However, rather than writing a completely new version of EDIT from scratch, it would be better to provide patches that improve our FreeDOS EDIT. There is too much that has already been built into our FreeDOS EDIT (for example, to make it operate more like MS-DOS EDIT) to simply throw all that away and start fresh (and with all new bugs.) Could I convince you to instead create patches that improve our current FreeDOS EDIT? (Note that Aitor is working on a new version of EDIT, so you may want to contact him off-list to see what has already been done.) -jh ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Freedos-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-devel
